with kites + bubbles + awesome food ♥ (jelly & sausage wrap made by chuxi, drinks bought by pinky, bread brought by hong, tuna brought by melia, nuggets brought by pooh, biscuits brought by congie, honey stars brought by tayy & potato salad + chicken wings I brought) & chuxi losing her phone but finding it at the bus terminal (yay!) & looking at wedding photoshoots & talking about rubbish ♥ & doing the psychological tests on the other sqms ^^ one of the most successful sqd outings wheeee ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

2. my awesome OG6 ♥

- 25th July 2012 Registration Day + Matric Fair

lunch with huijun + natalie & friendly Toshiba saleswoman & very efficient registration process & lots of goodies for newbies & the overwhelming matric fair which you will be stopped by a senior every 3-5 steps ._.

- 31st July 2012 Conventus 2012 + Freshmen Inauguration Ceremony

Conventus 2012 is an event to celebrate nurses' day on the 1st of august every year (: wowww so many of my seniors are super talented!! there was a duet sang by two of the N2s with guitar woohoo, a medicine band performance (i like the senior's voice (Y) ^^), a nursing band performance (don't really like the lead's voice but it's rather unique I would say) & another duet sang by a senior & my OG fake freshie o.o there were dance performances too :D the most impt thing is that they provided nice buffet tea snacks AND LUNCH. hahahahaha pigging out day :b

FIC was right after lunch! we kind of "swore-in" hahaha as we said the nurses' oath with the cute toy candle in our palms ._. after some talks by the mentor & erm award ceremony for the seniors (? during our FIC??) with academic excellence we had another tea break HAHA. MORE PIGGING OUT :B after that was library talk -.- couldn't have stayed awake if not for the funny AIDS/STI comic that NUHS gave in the goodie bag HAHA. was reading it with 70 and laughing like mad at the ridiculous things they do in the comic :b

- 7th & 10th August 2012 Flag & Rag Day

HEHEHE totally slacked our asses off during flag day :b
rag day was really fun!! the performances and floats were really awesomeeee! I love all the hall rags :D :D :D can totally feel the NUS vibe and the effort put in by every faculty and hall to put up the best rag ^^ medicine rag was awesome too :D :D love all the cheerleading routines in the performances but so dangerous omg ><

went off to play bball with dango & zw after rag and got my thumb sprained LOL -.- and the thing is that I wasn't even in serious mode cos I was super exhausted after staying up till 5am to watch tkd match -.-

3. allison & michelle & friends ♥

- 3rd & 6th August 2012 Basketball + lunch + shopping + prize stage!

somehow we did the same things for two days ._. and on the 6th it was with michy's ♥ branbran awww :B nice guy who's really really quiet hahahaha :D spent a bomb at prize stage zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz -.- but we had so much fun yayyy ♥ love dango & michy!! ^^ ♥♥

- 11th August 2012 "Duke's" bbq birthday party :D

at allison's house with allison & family & ziwai & daniel & 73 people (ryan, yiheng, elliot, sia, quan) & allison's juniors and friends :D supposedly to celebrate allison's doggy, duke's birthday but ended up celebrating allison's birthday early!! HAHAHA she was so blur cos of her flu she was like "it's not even my birthdayyyyy!!" ahh & yes I am so proud of the shirt I made for duke!!! will upload a photo of it after I get allison to take photo for me :D :D the bbq was awesome I ate so many sticks of satay I am really becoming a glutton D: D: D: played sparklers, frisbee & basketball :D caught up with the 73 people too (: (:

4. tama, tama, tamago ♥

- 1st August 2012 Crashing geog lecture + training in school

yes we crashed geog lecture. IN HC UNIFORM. lol no joke juniors who recognise us thought we were insane (we kinda are but who cares~ :b) and yeah anyway to avoid being spotted easily by mrschua we sneaked in from the back door of the lt and in the end before we could take our seats mrschua looked up and spotted us instantly and was like "are you kidding me?!" LOL. sneaky plan failed zzzz -.- hahahaha but we still had a nice atmo lecture and a nice chat with mrschua ^^ & nice brownies baked by tama wheee ♥ then we had lunch with our junior jared who sat with us throughout geog lecture hahaha and then tama & I went up to tkd room to have htht ♥ ♥ + monodeal before going for training (: (:
the training was awesome :D i love mrguna & the exercises he made us do (tho they are like super tiring D:). didn't do any target kicking that day but I still had muscle aches in my thighs and tummy for almost a week HAHA. need to exercise more~

London Olympics 2012

yes this kept me hyped up for a few weeks :D :D

I only watched events which I am interested in/nice to watch! like swimming & gym & men's basketball & taekwondo!

for basketball the outcome was kinda expected - team USA will definitely get the gold medal - but the gold medal match WAS EXTREMELY EXCITING!!! XD there were like 11 turnovers woohoooo B-D I got so excited watching the match I couldn't sleep that night (& the next day was the first day of school ><) until like 3+am :b
YES & i have finalised my NBA idols ranking!! argh sorry friends who are not fans of bball/NBA please skip all these ><
1. Kevin Durant - OKC Thunder
2. Kobe Bryant - LA Lakers
3. James Harden - OKC Thunder
4. Dwyane Wade - Miama Heat
5. Rajon Rondo - Boston Celtics
6. Russell Westbrook - OKC Thunder

& YES TKD. I have 3 new idols from this olympics :D
#1 idol spotted - Brigitte Yagüe Enrique (Spain)
#2 idol spotted - Tseng Li-Cheng (Taiwan)
#3 idol spotted - Jade Jones (Great Britain)
awesome people with awesome skills!! I was awed by Tseng Li-Cheng the most because of her 2 backhooks which were done with such proficiency and accuracy!! B-D accurate backhooks are so rare in this olympics it's so saddening ):


yepp anyway it's a significant day of my life today cos I met my silent mentors. I do not know their names. I did not get to see their faces. I do not know what kind of people they were. but I do know that they were great people who are selfless and brave. argh I think I am getting my tenses mixed up :/ I am not positive that I'll be brave enough to sign the yellow form like they did. I don't even think I'll ever be as 伟大 as all of them. & I was so touched by their deeds sigh so I cried during lecture boo )': so did many of my classmates. I was thinking about this as I bathed (I realised that bathing is the time when I think about a lot of things maybe I should try studying while bathing :b) & I think I'm probably going to think about it in bed while trying to sleep later. :/

okae so I think I should get into bed earlier since I am going to take a long time before I fall asleep >< no lessons tmr alternate week free thursdays rock wheeee :D :D
