hey all!! woohoo yes I thought I should blog before I go for camp because I will most probably blog about camp after I'm back on Sunday :D
okie about recent happenings~
1. Birth of an egg ♥
lol sorry I'm trying to be retarded. it's basically just tama's birthday :D we (prisci & I) celebrated her birthday early cos prisci was going for camp and hence we couldn't celebrate it on/near her birthday! ><
it was an awesome day heehee! we had itacho sushi for lunch (double thumbs-up for their sushi and don) & we watched The Dictator.
the first M18 movie I watched. and the funny guy at GV was telling us no we cannot watch cos it's M18 EVEN AFTER WE SHOWED HIM OUR IC. -.- tsktsktsk. anyway The Dictator was 100% funny. XD
it's hilarious in the extremely sick way cos of all the nudity and sexual references. umm and so 02.07.12 marks the end of prisci's innocence :B
2. Flea + Forever 21 shopping ♥
yay awesome shopping outing with sqms (melia, chu, pinky & cong!)!! ♥ ^^ sat at
Artease for 2+hours and we had
bubble tea for lunch hahahaha :D
then we went to the
flea market where chuxi went crazy over buying shorts & pink bought another pair of XS kiwi & schnee :3 ahhahaha sqms are so utterly cute ^^ LOL & when I thought I had some really good buys - tank top for 3 bucks, damn pretty but with defect floral shorts for 5 bucks, 2 rings for 5 bucks - I realised that I cannot fit into my floral shorts tsktsk. time to lose some weight. T.T friends please jio me out for more sports outing thanks!! oh yes and our cute congie, being the independent and decisive mummy of our squad, kept going off on her own and returning with loots XD
and after that was
F21 shopping!! we had some random obsession with heels-trying hahahaha XD it was so fun to try on every pretty pair but not buying it lol :B I think if we went to some shoe shop the shop keeper may wanna murder us HAHA. oh & yes sqms with long legs (melia, chuxi & cong), yall look nice in heels kae!! :D
then sqms got really hungry so we sat at
yoshinoya and ate the free onigiri which melia redeemed with some milo coupon :D ERPS & the cleaner at yoshinoya was FREAKING SCARY. I think he has some mental disorder omg. after he shouted randomly (& angrily) at some unknown person outside we got damn scared and fled from that place D:
LOL & more heels-trying obsession at
New Look hahaha!! & I never knew that their heels are more ex than f21's.
sent pinky & congie off to the mrt & then
dinner at 313 with chuxi & melia (: (:
anyway this is really random, but there's just this nice warm fuzzy feeling whenever I am with sqms ♥ we can talk about
everything under the sun together without fear of being judged or disliked for the things you say or the way you talk. well that's also because sqms are all extremely awesome & nice people to begin with ^^ heehee I love sqms!!! ♥
3. Harry Potter Exhibition ♥
dango's back!! & I went to the Harry Potter exhibition ytd with allison & ziwai!! the art-science museum is an awesome place :D it is the shape of a lotus flower!! the exhibition it's not bad imo but WAY TOO SHORT tsk. many other cool/important props/creatures/people are not featured. ): what's more is that all the harry potter merchandise are super OVER-PRICED >< it's expected but omg I still can't accept the fact that the photo costs 20 bucks -.- the chocolate frogs are 6 bucks each & I just have to get Voldemort ): I want Professor Dumbledore ):
oh & before that we went to some cool shop by the name of JABEN at adelphi mall where the person will help you find earpieces/headphones according to your needs & preferences :D I bought an amplifier from there omg it's so freaking awesome I LOVE IT SO MUCH :D :D :D
4. Michy's back ♥
yayyyyy like finally!! :D but it doesn't seem that long tbh. it's like we don't feel like we were missing from each other's lives. hehehe reflects so much about our friendship ^^ we went to
bugis for lunch + shopping! I bought a pair of casual shoes (after buying 3 pairs of shoes from taiwan?!) hehe :b lol I am not feeling the guilt for spending too much money cos it was such a happy occasion ^^
laugh of the day: (as expected from dango) "Question - Is Bugis on the purple line?" she likes purple line too much HAHA!
best joke of the day: (hmmm as expected from michy too? XD)
me: where does your daddy work at? (& I was really keen on knowing the LOCATION)
michy: ermmmm, he works in a BUILDING.

---WARNING: EXTREMELY LONG & BORING CONTENT---
hmm anyway yes I wanted to talk about this guilt that I have been feeling. a series of events leading from tama's upload of photos of BBQ at junior's house to part #1 of this post made me feel super uber guilty because I totally forgot about prisci's birthday. :/
when prisci first smsed me to ask if I wanted to celebrate tama's birthday earlier I got a shock. a reality shock yes. cos it suddenly dawned on me that prisci's birthday is some when around that time as well but I have absolutely no recollection of the exact date until I checked FB. argh I was so overwhelmed with guilt when I realised that I've missed prisci's birthday and I didn't even wish her a happy belated birthday & I had to rely on technology to rmb a good friend's birthday )': (I did wish her after that but am still really very very guilty)
yeah then I felt so disappointed with myself because both prisci and tama are such dear friends of mine & I am just like living in my own world without realising that their birthdays are nearing/have passed. I began to wonder if I was being too insensitive and not putting in as much care and concern as tama & prisci have showered me with in return. I mean friendship isn't about giving & expecting a return & it isn't measured by the loss and gain but it really made me feel extremely lacking as a friend. I really need to reflect on my actions because I really do not wish to lose any of my dear friends ): ):
on the other hand, i feel really really fortunate to have all my close friends by my side despite being lacking in many many aspects. I wish that it will be the same as that in #4 with every close friend of mine in the near future when we are all leading our own lives & pursuing our dreams in different schools, different countries. yes & hopefully in the far future too. it is really not the distance that matters (: hehe this is directed to tama & michy: I really hope that we can continue to feel like we were never missing from each other's life ^^
& one thing which I am rather proud of is that I NEVER take my friends for granted. well maybe I have done that before, but I am positive that I have definitely changed for the better >< seeing people taking their friends for granted really pisses me off now. I am sure the close friends we have by our sides at this age of 19 are those who have gone through thick and thin with you. (haha omg I suddenly rmb the period of time during sec2/3 when I was so
extremely insensitive towards sqms and making sqms like tay &
meichun extremely uncomfortable & unhappy working with me. T.T) so at least put some effort into maintaining the friendship? & another thing is, it is definitely okae to prioritize some friends before others, but there is absolutely NO NEED to show it so blatantly. you might as well just go straight to the point, "oh you are just the back-up plan." which simply = telling the person straight in the face "I AM TAKING YOU FOR GRANTED". come on, even fools will know that it is only appropriate to give in order to gain. if you are not going to put in any effort & maintain that attitude of yours, I doubt the friendship will even last till end of this year.
pheww finally done with all the long boring shit -inserts the whatsapp shit emoticon- :D :D :D yay I felt better after saying what I have been wanting to say ^^ (LOL like after pooping you feel better :b)
